Style Snapshot -- Purple Wedding Inspiration
Happy Weekend Guys....now, if you are a fan of the color palette of purple, then you are truly at the right place today...
Cakes are one of the favourite parts of most weddings- a fantastic way to demonstrate your own personality from the cake flavour, cake topper, cake colour and the cake levels, a lot of choice when it comes to the cake. But a delicious and fun choice at least! Dainty Violets. Shrinking violets? Not the riotous ones piped in luscious buttercream on this winningly old-fashioned four-tier cake -- the dainty assortment is too delicious to resist.
You and your bridesmaids can go as 'purple as possible' or just slight hints- either works well for a fantastic overall look. I tend to think of winter weddings as being more glamorous and I'm absolutely smitten with this glam palette of dark purple. It would make for such an elegant wedding, right? Dark colors always look more couture, fashionable, chic than the light ones. As for deep purple specifically, it combines very easily and beautifully with many different colors that can soften it (like shades of pink, green, etc.) or add even more glamour (like silver, black, gold, etc.). Just choose what better suits you and your beloved, your vision of the wedding.

Add Color to the Bridal Party Attire - Bridal Shower Planning
Give Neutrals a Pop
Electrify ivory, taupe, black, or gray frocks with a high-watt color. Let your brides wear white! A bracelet with a vintage vibe from House of Lavande makes it fun and feminine.
Trendy Trousers
Send your fashion maverick down the aisle in J.Crew's cropped silk "Estelle" trousers, Bardot racer peplum top, "Fran" pumps in lemon, "Genevra" belt in lavender (both from L.K. Bennett), and Alexis Bittar's "Teatro Moderne" malachite necklace (charmandchain.com).
Mix It Up
Select a group of colors (I chose blue-green, blush, lilac, and lemon), then let your bride to decide how to mingle them.
Black Backdrop
No need to embellish the scene-stealing neckline of the Hitherto for Bhldn "Audrey" dress. Instead, a clutch like Jenny Packham's "Acacia Nouvelle" will push this LBD into formal territory. And black is the ideal backdrop for a jewel tone.
And your Dress? Just be simple and no need to be full-dress, just like this:

How About Putting Your Bridesmaids in Skirts
How to find bridesmaid dresses to suit all the different shapes and sizes, not to mention individual styles of your ladies. For some it's easy, for others a real struggle, BUT how about putting your bridesmaids in skirts?
All those real wedding photos are from: http://onefabday.com/.
Short and Sweet
Bridesmaid skirt and top combos offer the opportunity to be uniform in creating a look but still fitting each lady well. For Spring and Summer, short skirts in bright colours add a dash of fun. The pretty preppy green and white stripe skirts were captured by A Bryan Photo via Southern Weddings Magazine.Marvellous Maxis
Short isn't the only option for skirts of course, the maxi skirt has been in the shops for the last few seasons, so there are plenty of choices for those who prefer to cover the legs. For summery looks, pale pastels are so pretty.Mix & Match Skirts and Tops
Finding identical outfits for different shaped girls can be a chore, so why not mix and match? The key to a successful look is to choose the skirt first, something that’s eye-catching and beautiful, and then designate a general colour/shape for the top. That allows the ladies to find their own within a range that will look coordinated but complimentary to each figure.Punchy Colour Combo
This punchy colour combo is a great example of how a skirt and top outfit can be as dressy as you like - jazzed up with jewels and accessories, just because it isn't a bridesmaid dress per se, who cares - it's so much more stylish and the different sizes means each girl is suited to her shape. All those real wedding photos are from: http://onefabday.com/.

Backyard Bohemian Real Wedding Theme
A gorgeous barefoot bride and bridesmaids in different Bohemian Dresses.
"Love is like a tree; it must be nurtured and it must grow deep roots, and yet the mightiest trees stand amidst a forest. We wanted our wedding to represent our forest and we wanted it to remind all those involved of how much we appreciate all their years of love, support, and nourishment. It was a party to celebrate us, but also our guests." -- A nature lover's wedding vows on a real backyard wedding.
If you love to explore nature's wonders and find no greater joy than the peace of a rainy day, the thrill of a crashing wave, or the embrace of a warm sunrise. You may want to bring a hybrid of glamorous and natural elements together for your wedding.
The gorgeous bridesmaids each picked their own dress from BHLDN. The amazing bouquets are by Bryan Long Flowers & Events.
The ceremony took place among the trees and the guests sat in a full circle all the way around us. There wasn't an aisle and there weren't bride and groom sides.
